The SCLC (Spinola Child Learning Center) celebrates Jesus birthday on December 19, 2014 at the Spinola ground, Tetuan, Zamboanga City. The children, teachers, sisters and parents gathered as one family to celebrate the joyous season of the year, the birth of JESUS- the very reason for the season.

It highlights the short play where the small children re- enact the story of the Nativity of Jesus, the Christmas story, the story of this God who ‘jump’ out from heaven to become one with us and like us, just to tell us how much HE loves us.

That is why everyone has the reason to rejoice, be happy and joyful. Also there were different Christmas dance presentations from the children. After the program was the beautiful agape, the sharing of food where everyone bring their own and share. We truly are a one big family.

It was a beautiful afternoon, full of joy and gratitude to God for the gift of Jesus to us, with us and among us. Also for the gift of the Spinola family in this small corner of the world, in the Philippines, in Mindanao. That amidst all the problems and calamities both man- and natural calamities that we faced and we are still facing, we have the reason to smile, it is because God is with us in JESUS. Thank you Lord for loving us this much!
