As part of the Season of Creation celebration, the Marcelo Spinola School had a tree planting last October 2, 2021. The Sisters and educators marched their way to Palomoc, Titay, the barangay next to Ipil, to plant trees in the hill, which was consumed by fire. We began our tree planting with a simple prayer service wherein educators wrote their prayers and hanged them on the newly planted trees.

Thanks to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), our desire to collaborate in the planting of trees in the province was realized.   We were glad to see some residents who helped us in tree planting and we were happy to know that they will be the ones to monitor the planted trees.

We culminated our activity by contemplating the beauty of nature and thanking the Lord for the gift of everything our eyes can see and the opportunity to show our love and care for our Mother Earth.
